Energetics of Points and Meridians
This three day class is an in-depth exploration of the Flow of Qi known as the Meridian System. We will be exploring the relationship between the meridians and the organ systems as well as discussing the core principles of Oriental Medicine. At the end of this three day intensive study, you will know the meridian pathways as well as key acupressure points that hold a deep affinity for sound and vibration. You will also learn the basic concepts of the five elements, the eight principles and the locations and functions of the Mu and Source acupuncture points. The information shared in this class will be applicable to all healing modalities that are striving to comprehend the concept of energy as structure: a grid of vibration that conducts and contains. If it is indeed true that we hover between heaven and earth, then, this medicine allows us to read the map of the body in terms of yin, yang, metal, water, wood, fire and earth. We are reflections of nature. Qi is the vitality that sustains all form.*This class is required for those non acupuncturists working towards their Acutonics Certification.
